Municipal Wharf

The Municipal Dock

A peaceful lakeside spot in the heart of Venise-en-Québec

Located in the village center, the Municipal Dock is a favorite gathering place along the shores of Lake Champlain. More than just a beach, it’s a welcoming public space to relax, walk, fish, or simply enjoy the view.

SAFETY REMINDER – Venise-en-Québec Wharf

Access to the wharf’s concrete structure is strictly prohibited. It is also forbidden to cross the barrier or walk out to the end of the structure. Unfortunately, the harsh winter conditions of 2026 accelerated the deterioration: ice buildup pushed by wind and waves has weakened the structure.

We ask all boaters to keep a minimum distance of 30 metres (100 feet) from the wharf. Marker buoys will be installed to delineate the safety perimeter.

Thank you for your vigilance!
