Founded in 1998, S.I.T.E. du Lac Champlain has been working for over 25 years to promote the Venise-en-Québec region.

A nonprofit organization based in Venise-en-Québec, S.I.T.E. is built on four fundamental pillars:

  • sustainable tourism development;

  • promoting natural and cultural heritage;

  • creating community-building events;

  • supporting the local community.

Thanks to its team and numerous volunteers, S.I.T.E. helps make Venise-en-Québec a welcoming, festive, and vibrant destination—summer and winter alike.

Daniel Boudreau

Daniel supports the management team and board of directors in defining the organization’s key directions. He serves as a spokesperson with partners and helps move tourism projects forward with a global vision and a strong spirit of collaboration.

Vice-Presidente

Adèle Bourdeau

Adèle is the Vice President, she plays a key role in the cultural and artistic development of Venise-en-Québec.


She coordinates the Rendez-vous des Artisans, a summer market that showcases the talent of regional creators, as well as the Christmas Market, a flagship event that brings the holiday spirit to life in the heart of the village. Adèle is also responsible for “Les Auteurs débarquent”, a unique literary gathering that allows the public to meet authors and exchange with them in a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

Johanne Ponilcky

Johanne, known artistically as Jopo, serves on our board of directors and is a member of the committee in charge of the artistic direction of La Galerie du Lac. Her mission is to showcase both local talent and established Québec artists, offering a varied program that makes art accessible and helps culture shine in Venise-en-Québec.

Jacques Valley

Jacques is a recognized singer and creator of themed musical atmospheres, Jacques Valley is actively involved in the organization. As a member of the Board of Directors, he contributes his experience and knowledge to support the planning and development of our projects. He also takes part in creating musical ambiance during our events and activities, helping shape the warm and dynamic character of the destination.

Michel Lavigne

Michel serves on the board as a director representing the CCLACC.

The CCLACC is an annual cycling event that has been held for over 20 years. Each year, this race brings together participants of all skill levels and contributes to the region’s sporting and tourism profile.

As president of the CCLACC, he oversees matters related to the organization and development of the event. He acts as a liaison to convey relevant information to the board and ensure alignment between this flagship event and our organization.

Karine Robitaille has joined the board of directors as the director responsible for workforce support.

She assists the organization’s various committees and offers her support based on her expertise and availability. Her involvement is aimed at strengthening internal collaboration and providing practical support for the implementation of projects and activities.
